I’m not sure how many of you may have missed all the updates so I wanted to make a post here as well with all the going-ons I have happening in the next few weeks.
As I’ve mentioned before, the painting event is up and happening. As of this posting I have sold 24 of the 42 seats (with a few more sign-ups promised to me verbally) so we are getting close to my goal of filling all the seats. If you haven’t signed up please do! I’ve managed to get a handful of prizes for our raffle so I hope this is a great event! You can get some more details here, including the link to register and save your seat.
The Bert’s Bottle Shop event is also live and coming to you not once but TWICE! I’m a huge fan of Bert’s not only because I can walk to and from but because it’s locally owned and the staff there is amazing! There’s a good selection of beers constantly rotating on tap he’s slowly adding more amazing food items to his menu. November 7th and 14th are the nights he has graciously given to me for my fundraising efforts. Starting at 5:30, all pints purchased will earn me $1.00 as well as each order of soft pretzels. Tuesday is Taco Night which is a great addition. Although I won’t earn money from the tacos they are a great addition to you beers at $1.50/each. No tickets or signing up – just come, drink and have a great time! If you don’t know where Bert’s is located is right outside of Millersville by the Sheetz. Along 741/Rohrerstown Road in the new strip center with Tropical Smoothie, Wayback, Nino’s and the such. Bert’s is on the end close to Member’s 1st. Bring your friends, bring your family and bring your thirst!
On the other side of things – I’m doing great! The fundraising has been keeping me busy and occupied and overall I’ve been feeling pretty good. My pills continue to work so things are continuing on the course they’ve been. That’s why I’ve been pretty quiet lately. Not much to report 🙂
