Maybe I Won’t Be Bored

I’ve had this weird desire to try and do some fundraising and advocacy for Lung Caner and apparently it might be something for me to take seriously.  I usually have such a hard time asking for things, but so far I’m getting some great response and have TWO events in the works for November – Lung Cancer Awareness Month.

Details are still be finalized but it looks like we will have a painting event at “Painting with a Twist” in Centerville and a drinking event at one of my new favorite places – “Bert’s Bottle Shop” right here in Millersville.

I am super excited about this, especially since LUNGevity has created a way for us to donate specifically to ALK+ research.  As long as I’m feeling good and have time and energy to do something I think I’m going to embrace it!
